About Organization:

Rural Care Foundation (RCF) is non-governmental and non-profitable voluntary organization led by the Seven Youth Female Social Activists who are educated and dedicated for social work and social mind. It was registered under the Andhra Pradesh society registration Act of 2001. Registered in the year of 2020. The main objective of our organization is to empower the rural poor women. Who are exploiting physically and mentally by giving various awareness programmes among the people and enhance their living capacity and to reduce dependency on others and to lead a independent life in the society through various skill development programs, and income generating activities to empower them and relieve them from the poverty and discrimination without caste, creed, colour and specially who are depressed, to perfect their rights and privileges and oppressed with that concept the women of seven youth started the above foundation.

“Women, children and youth focused organization working towards unity, social and economic empowerment through Advocacy, psychosocial support, sensitization, community outreaches, networking, educational support, environmental protection and conservation” Rural Care Foundation came into existence as a result of the motivation and personal initiative of its founder, Mrs. Siva Lakshmi Palani, to enhance the socio-economic status of the underprivileged people. Hailing from a rural family, the founder was no stranger to hardships faced by the underprivileged. Having overcome economic and social challenges, due to the backing and economic blessings from certain elder society leaders, the founder set out to do her best to make a positive difference in the lives of fellow underprivileged.

Objectives:

1. To create social stability and awareness on women issues and other related adolescence issues.

2. Creating avenue for advocacy for human rights, peaceful resolution of conflicts and sustain socio- economic development among the marginalized communities.

3. To advocate for a society whereby children and youth with disabilities have equal rights and opportunities for growth and development.

4. Improved access to education and psycho-social well being of marginalized children and youth.

5. Increase household income through self help projects hence eradicating household poverty.

6. To establish, run and maintain Educational Institutions, Technical Institutions and vocational training centers especially for the disabled persons to improve their self-employment opportunities.

Issue of Interest:

Promoting the aims and purpose of the organisations among the various societies of the different districts in Andhra Pradesh state, Organization is actively working for the social development of Rural and tribal communities, Working in Women and children Rights, Education, WASH, Food Nutrition & Health, Sustainable Livelihood and disaster management Working with likeminded organisations in Nellore district for social development of poor communities for their better future in Education, Water Sanitation & Hygiene, Food Nutrition & Health and Economic development through sustainable livelihood and protect their Human Rights.

Activities of the organisation:

Child protection

Formation and training of child protection committees, community dialogue meetings, and support to community led initiatives on child protection, data collection on violation of children’s rights and supporting formal education for Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Nellore district.

Livelihoods Support

Provision of sustainable and profitable means of livelihoods, training of Income Generating Activities and financial management, support to marginalized women to attain vocational skills in the community.

Emergency and relief

Provision of food aid, training in food security and agricultural rehabilitation to formerly displaced returnees, people affected by floods which resulted to famine in Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh.

Reproductive Health

This is done through: Behavioral Change Communication (BCC), awareness and sensitization, guidance and counseling, distribution of Information Education and Communication materials, HIV/AIDS Counseling and Testing and community outreaches.
